Skilled Nursing Care

Compassion, Dedication, and Outstanding Service

just some of the qualities that our founders instilled in the philosophy of care given at Pleasant View. Based on that tradition of caring, we deliver care that encompasses the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of life in the J. Calvin Wenger Health and Wellness Center.

Licensed for 133 beds, our clinical care integrates medical treatment, nursing expertise, specialty services and personal support for individuals requiring 24-hour care and supervision. In harmony with the wishes of the resident, an individualized care plan is prepared with input from nursing, social services, pastoral care, life enrichment, dining services and family members.
If you have an unexpected injury or a planned surgery, turn to Pleasant View for your Rehabilitation needs. We provide quality care in a home-like setting where you can regain strength and mobility through our coordinated system of services, featuring physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapies.

Pet Therapy

Pleasant View values the benefits of pet therapy and welcome pet therapy volunteers to our campus. The animals provide a break from the normal routine, a new face which lightens the spirit, a sensory experience that sparks memories and conversations, and an overall feeling of comfort. Dogs are common pet therapy providers, but there are other animals that our residents enjoy receiving their loving support. Vinnie, a miniature horse with Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS), became a therapy horse after being rescued from a horse auction. Vinnie visits our residents either in their private rooms or in a group session from time to time.
