Our story began over 65 years ago when the first of our doors opened to residents. Over those years, every nook and cranny of Pleasant View’s campus lay witness to the thousands of stories of joy that our community has created and shared.

Pleasant View Communities is so much more than a Life Plan Community. In the coming weeks and months, our blog will help you understand why this is such a special place that so many adults call home. It will also serve as a resource for residents and families interested in learning more about the many lesser-known aspects of Pleasant View, including programs happening across our campuses and new ways to get involved in community life.
We’ll be sharing inspiring and compelling stories about the ways in which we’ve cared for our residents through all stages of their life plan as well as how our full spectrum of services has made it easy for our residents to relax and live worry-free.
There’s nothing Pleasant View doesn’t offer its residents, and we can’t wait to show you all of it.

One of the best features of our community is that the joys you find here don’t happen solely on campus. Pleasant View residents are active members of the broader community. Many serve important roles as board members and volunteers for organizations like the Manheim Community Library, local farming programs, and nearby school districts.
As you can imagine, we have no shortage of stories to tell. We plan to capture as many of them as possible and share them with you here, using this blog to further connect our residents and the entire life plan community. Our mission is to create a fuller and more meaningful experience for every life we touch here at Pleasant View, and we hope this blog will give us another avenue toward achieving that goal.
